Vision dropped in 1 week (father, 78 years), both eyes, one worse. Anything related to retina here? Had cataract in one eye but he didn't undergo surgery last year and opted for ayurvedic treatment instead. Also the dog bite him in the leg last week but the vaccination was done within 48 hrs. Anything related to dog bite ?
Most respected opthalmologists here. I had been using Soha eye drops from year 2021 ,3-4 times a day, without any issue. However from last December onwards, my eyes started to water immensely post instilling Soha eye drops. Previously I used Systane ultra from 2014 - 2019. I was diagnosed with MGD in both eyes in 2023. This year i started lubimoist which gave temporary relief and eyes got back to watering state soon. Got my eyes tested. Everything's ok. Tried Systane hydration on Doctor's recommendation but eyes again get watery post instilling these. Am contemplating using Soha Liquigel. Is it safe to instill Soha Liquigel BD or even TDS, lifelong? Which eye drop is particularly suitable for MGD? Can Eyemist drops/genteel gel help better? Warmest Regards, forever 🙏🏻
I have a lazy left eye and have power in both eyes. 8 have floaters too in both eyes. There are many web like, tail like, bubble and dot like. For 20 days I have been seeing afterimages of objects like grills, clock, text and images on phone, laptop and tv. Sometimes in Sky I see sparkle glitters like jugnus too many. Sometimes persistent afterimages for the bulb for 3-4 mins if I close my eyes it becomes multiple. Today I noticed a little bit of a light sensitivity also. I got a dilated retina exam at Shroff eye centre 3 days ago and my retina is fine. The doctor is saying the afterimage phenomenon is normal. This did not exist 20 days ago How is it normal? I worked in IT, I am using refreshed tears eye drops. Also, I start to feel tiredness, little pain and burning sensation in my eyes very soon while working on my phone and laptop. Can anyone tell me what to do? Lazy eye, floater now afterimages/ghost images, sparkle, light sensitivity. Shall I consult neuro or other opthomologist?
