ACI reconstruction is a surgical procedure in which a damaged or snapped anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is operated out and substituted with a hamstring tendon in parts, imported from the other leg of the patient. They take out a sample of the cells from the site of healthy cartilage for duplication. 80% of the procedures have successful outcomes in all recent cases.
