I have had a root canal on tooth #6, 7 years ago. I now have a chronic periapical abscess with cheek swelling. My CBCT (attached) shows infection but no clear fracture. I want the best effort to save the tooth (re-RCT) before extraction. Could you please advise if it is possible?
My CBCT airway and tmj reports - severe narrowing of the upper airway seen in the oropharyngeal region distal to the soft palate and base of the tongue (thinnest slice measuring about 83.3 mm2).
