I am 40 years old and working in IT . I started playing football in turf ground with my friends . In mid of game I suddenly feel like fainting and my heart pounds a lot.. I wear an Apple Watch and see that my heart rate goes up to 180 . While some days where I don't sprint a lot I am okay with no issues and max heart rate is 160 during the game is it something I need to worry about and stop playing football. Also I have anxiety which was treated couple of years ago and have coping with it . I did a complete blood test and year ago everything was normal except triglycerides of 290 .
I have been diagnosed AFib with RVR and was prescribed Amiodarone 100mg 1-0-1 with Prolomet XL 50 1-0-0. Eliquis 2.5 mg 1-0-1. Two months course is over . BP is normal / pulse rate hovers around 50 at rest and does not increase more than 65 during exercise etc. Have a FibriCheck app and checking on it daily for the past two months and last two days there is occurrence of AFib with pulse rate of 90. ( I had reduced to Prolomet 25 last two days . There are no symptoms and all is normal ., Cordarone was given for a month and stopped and now again started by the doctor stating the side effects .
I have no other issues ( sugar / thyroid / liver / kidney all normal ) .
Should I take any BP medicine with Prolomet . Is the pulse rate 50 okay with these medications. Take antihistamines twice a week for food allergy.
No caffeine/ alcohol.
Or a change of medication or increase of amiodarone is required . Not interested in Abalation process .
I woke in the middle of night sometimes sweating around my neck. Feel pain in left arm or sometimes left arm sleep. Left side from and back tightness. Trouble breathing.
Dear Doctor
I did my echo yesterday . I have attached the report. Is there any concern in the reports that should be addressed.
Regards,
Due to dilation of Aortic Root and Ascending Aorta ( 4.8 cms ) I was told by Cardiologist to measure bp once in two weeks and if Systolic above 130 consistently to see him. My BP now is 130/100.
He did not mention about diastolic pressure.
Is this an issue or can the diastolic value be ignored if Systolic is normal.
Taking Concor AM 5mg.
