I have been diagnosed AFib with RVR and was prescribed Amiodarone 100mg 1-0-1 with Prolomet XL 50 1-0-0. Eliquis 2.5 mg 1-0-1. Two months course is over . BP is normal / pulse rate hovers around 50 at rest and does not increase more than 65 during exercise etc. Have a FibriCheck app and checking on it daily for the past two months and last two days there is occurrence of AFib with pulse rate of 90. ( I had reduced to Prolomet 25 last two days . There are no symptoms and all is normal ., Cordarone was given for a month and stopped and now again started by the doctor stating the side effects . I have no other issues ( sugar / thyroid / liver / kidney all normal ) . Should I take any BP medicine with Prolomet . Is the pulse rate 50 okay with these medications. Take antihistamines twice a week for food allergy. No caffeine/ alcohol. Or a change of medication or increase of amiodarone is required . Not interested in Abalation process .
