Diagnosed with Afib RVR last year and was put on Cordarone 100 , 1-0-1 , prolomet XL 50 1-0-0 and Eliquis 2.5 1-0-1 for two months and stopped in October . Since there was a Afib incidence again the medicines were started March 15 this year same quantities and is being continued . Last two days had a nagging headaches in the evening and checked the night blood pressure shoots up to 170-180 and the next day when checked it comes under 135/80 readings . No symptoms, Normal walking and other activities no palpitation etc but it was showing Afib on the app. Can I increase the dosage of Prolomet50 or take Prolomet 25 in the night additional or take amlong 5 mg or other BP tablets in the evening till my doctor returns in June. Since my doctor is unavailable posted for opinion and suggestions.

Headache and blood pressure need more explanation. Keep check your BP for few days. If blood pressure is problem add BP medication. ProlometXR with Ramipril you can continue and check Kidney function and electrolyte tests. If headache still present, plan a visit to check any need of further test e.g. Eye exam or CT scan.
Next Steps
Before Confirming Reason of headache stop blood thinner till next consult. With risk of Bleed vs Clot.
Health Tips
Keep rate control with regular medication,  miss dose can be a problem.
