Hi, I got breathlessness in May for almost 10 days. This episode happened just before my period started and continued for 10 days. After that, the uncomfortable breathing patterns subsided. This month again, i have got the same breathlessness just before my period started i.e 19th June. Is there anything related to hormones or something else? What should I do?
Mother is diagnosed with copd flare up in March 2024 with FEV1 70%. She has hypertension as well with Diabetes. Now she is stable but very low appetite.Always depressed on everything. Bp is also stable and totally normal from the last 2 months. Please help me in keeping her warm and normal so that she can recover. Also would like to understand how soon she can get back to normal activities which she was previously doing. She was doing perfect before March 2024 . She is living alone most of the times and always tensed on everything. Can you suggest few medications also. Moreover she is supposed to have knee replacement surgery as well which is making her more anxious. She is not ready for the same. Always in pain. Please help me with the medications.
Yesterday while eating, I felt like a grain of rice was going into wind pipe, I didn't get cough but I immediately adjusted. But I was doubtful that what if that grain of rice went into my lungs. While reading online, it has mentioned tat we will get cough and gag reflux. But I did t get any of these signs and symptoms. So, I voluntarily coughed and vomited some food. Now, I have mild chest tightness at the centre of my chest. I have GERD problem. So, I often get this type of symptoms. Now I don't have cough or breathing difficulties. But I'm still afraid whether rice would have gone inside my lungs. Should I take x-ray. I'm worried. Please advise.
