My mom (age 47) has undergone cataract surgery in one eye. One she can see things at long distance clearly. She is also a diabetic patient. Now soon she will have to undergo surgery for the next eye also. Doctor is suggesting her to keep a different focal lens so that she can see near objects. So basically she will be able to see things at far distance using one eye and other can be used for seeing near objects. Is this the right approach?
