Health Q&A
Eye redness in right eye

Suddenly right eye sclera became red and pain is radiating towards upper eyelid to headache on right side

Persistent Afterimages

I have been seeing persistent afterimages for a long time and it is not limited to phone, tv, laptop. For ex: I watch a plate, glass, grill, plaster of paris design and look away I see a glimpse of that object for a second. I am working on my laptop and I see it towards the screen after typing then I see the keyboard glimpse. Even on the road if there is a bright sign board or name and I look away, I see a glimpse of that. I have got my dilated retina exam done and it is fine. Even a few months ago I got an MRI Brain Plain done on the suggestion of a neurologist and it's also fine. Recently optho doctor suggested that I go for a Neurologist for ocular migraine. I don't have any headache but sometimes I feel heaviness on the sides and back of my head. I also have many times feel pain in the eyes area. I have lazy eye in LE, floaters, number in both eyes. Taking Bilypsa and L-gautholine for fatty liver from 7 months. Lost 26 Kg of weight in 7 months. Which doctor to visit? I am fed up.

Refractive Error

My son is 3 years old, he doesn't interact much and doesn't and doesn't follow instructions. Recently he has been diagnosed with refractive error in both eyes. The doctor has prescribed a minimum number as of now -2.00 Cyl in RE & -3.00 Cyl in LE. He said his LE number can be more. There is a sph number also. Can someone tell me what needs to be done. As I have seen at multiple places the number keeps on increasing until 18 years of age. Also the doctor has prescribed Pataone drops once a day and ecotears plus (Sodium Hyaluronate 0.18) drops twice a day. Any suggestions and help matters.

Eye burning sensation

I am writing to seek your opinion regarding my father (80 years old). Chief complaint: Burning sensation in both eyes for approximately one month. There is no eye discharge, but he experiences persistent burning and irritation. Eye examination findings: Vision: Right eye – 6/9, Left eye – 6/18 Pseudophakia (status post cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation) Medical history: No history of diabetes History of hypertension The following medications were prescribed: Maxmoist Eye Drops – 1 drop, 4 times daily Aydrops Eye Drops – 1 drop, 4 times daily Unfortunately, despite using these medications as advised, his symptoms have not improved. Even frequent splashing of water on his eyes has not provided any relief. Could you please advise: What could be the possible cause of his persistent burning sensation? Whether any additional investigations or examinations are required. Whether you would recommend any alternative medications ? Eyes is hereby attached.
