MENISCUS TEAR KNEE PROBLEM

KNEE MRI SAYS RADIAL MENISCAL TEAR IN THE ANTERIOR HEAD. Two doctors suggested arthoscopy. Is there an alternate for this problem? And if I undergo arthoscopy will I be assured of no sideeffects and recurrence of the problem?

PostOp Arthroscopic ALPSA

I just underwent an arthroscopic ALPSA lesion repair on my left shoulder using bio anchors. I've been prescribed Taxim-O, Movon-P and Chymoral Forte for a period of 10 days after surgery. Do I need to take the antibiotics for that long? Also, what is the reason for prescribing antibiotics after a surgery?

Bone n muscle pain

My mom is 50. She was working when her leg got hurt when it dashed on the floor.now its been a month that it pains whenever she walks or stands for too long..is believes in everything Ayurvedic...so she does anything and everything she feels is natural.we asked her to go to a specialist but the she went to an ayurvedic doc...and now the pain is not gone.today she went to a specialist...she has asked her to take MRI. She has the habbit of diluting tiny biy of lime stone ( chuna) in her drinking water..coz somebody told her its good for body...but I m concerned...will it not cause any side effects or kidney stone?

Snap frozen section of muscle is adequate And shows transvers muscle bundles. There is variation in muscle fiber size , many atrophic muscle fiber are noted. Dence endomysial and interstitial lymphocytic of infiltrate is noted. There is evidence of mypophagocytosis and necrosis of muscle fibers. Many regenerating fiber showing basophlia is seen there is no evidence of granuloma vasculitis and amyloid is seen in this biopsy examined. Immunohistorology : MHCI -- Focal increased expression in subsarcollema MHCII : Increase expression in subsarcollema MAC – Focal increase expression in small vessels C4d - Non contriburtory Combining morphogical and immunohistochemistry findings features are of inflammatory myopathy consistent with polymyositis. DIAGNOSIS Muscle (left , vastus lateral is) : consistent with Mayopathy , Inflammatory
