My mother, Rubina Malik, is 57 years old and has diabetes. She was enrolled in Practo’s Diabetes Reversal Program.
Her blood sugar readings from yesterday were:
Fasting/empty stomach: 123 mg/dL
Post-dinner: 188 mg/dL
She weighs around 54 kg and goes for a walk twice a day.
She is currently experiencing a problem in her left thigh/leg. She feels a tightness in the thigh, and she is unable to bend the leg properly. She also feels as if the veins or nerves in that area are under extreme pressure and might burst. The sensation is quite uncomfortable.
We consulted a local orthopedic specialist in Ratlam. The doctor gave her an injection, after which she felt some relief, and prescribed medicines. However, the problem has not completely resolved.
A local physiotherapist told us that there is no proper treatment for this problem. Her diabetes doctor from Practo has now prescribed Winnaxon Plus injection.

Got meniscus injury in left knee in Jan 2026 and has been in rehab, Grade 1 lateral complex tear with Discoid Meniscus, knocked knees - Has started walking but slow without walker - getting catches or snaps and not locks 2 inches below meniscus in the back upper calf left side and in the front left side 2 inches below meniscus joint line or tear - during the catch usually pains in the front 2 inches below meniscus left side of left affected knee for 1-2 seconds but sometimes the current feels till lower down in the last 2 toes.
Overall the intensity of snaps which was 50 to 100 in a month in March has gone down to 10 snaps a month and that too during turns or certain angles of the leg below knee ..
Otherwise NO clinical symptoms
All the physiotherapist say NO to surgery whereas 80% orthopedics say Yes to surgery just on the basis of the words "Discoid" & "Complex" to which many Doctors specially physios dont agree saying - born with discoid, tear is in lateral part of lateral menisc
Hello Doctor, I am a 24-year-old male. I have been experiencing persistent tingling/pricking sensation (jhanjhanahat) in the sole of my foot for the past few days. It is mainly present from the forefoot/toes area towards the middle of the sole. I do not have significant pain or weakness, but the tingling sensation is persistent. It started after I suddenly increased my walking to around 10,000 steps per day. I have tried rest and warm/cold water therapy, but there has been no significant improvement so far.
Could you please advise what could be causing this and whether I need any examination or blood tests such as Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, blood sugar, etc.? Also, please let me know if I should continue walking/exercising or take rest for now
Last year my mother started to have knee pain in her left knee. Took her to an ortho doctor, x ray showed knee osteoarthritis and he prescribed medicines but didn't help much. He suggested surgery but mother wanted to try physiotherapy. She's only had a few sessions but physiotherapy has helped.
My query is few months before her knee pain started she was hospitalised for kidney stones. After the stones were removed, doctor changed her diabetic medicines. Instead of taking Cerapin xr 500 during breakfast and dinner he prescribed Trajenta 5 during breakfast and Gluconorm SR 850 during dinner.
I read Trajenta 5 side effect can cause joint pain. Can any doctor verify this? My mother doesn't have any visible swelling or redness in the knees.
My wife is 36 years old and has had persistent right-sided pain for more than 10 months. The pain starts near the lower part of the right shoulder blade and spreads upward toward the neck and into the right arm.
We have not received a clear diagnosis yet. We would like a specialist evaluation to understand whether the pain could be related to the cervical spine, nerve irritation/compression, shoulder-blade muscles, upper back, or shoulder joint.
We are considering an MRI, but would prefer advice on the most appropriate targeted scan rather than a whole-body MRI. Please also advise whether neurological examination, nerve-conduction studies, X-ray, physiotherapy assessment, or other tests would be useful.
