Foot and calf  pain

Hello Docs, Hope you all are doing well. For the past week, whenever I go to bed, I experience pain in my foot and calf. To relieve the pain, I need to  place a pillow on my foot for pressure, which helps me fall asleep. The pain usually disappears once I start walking. Could you please advise what might be causing this and suggest remedy for this. Thanks to all in advance 😊

Calcific Achilles Tendonitis

Hello Doctor, I am a football player and had suffered an injury in my Achilles tendon of both of my legs a few months back. Initially, I took a few days of rest and resumed playing once there was no pain. However, I again got an injury on my right Achilles tendon, and this time the pain was so severe that I was unable to put weight on my right heel. After undergoing X-ray and ultrasound, I have been diagnosed with Achilles calcific tendinitis on both of my legs. Could you please advise on: 1. How long does recovery typically take in such cases? 2. Will I be able to return to competitive football?
