Hi, My brother's (Age 38) TRODAT result came as below: Presynaptic dopaminergic dysfunction on both sides (L>R). Doctor Prescribed following tablets and he is yet to start the medication. 1. Rasalect 1 mg (once daily) 2. Amantrel 100mg (twice daily) Currently the symptoms what he is having is mild and only discomfort in one hand finger movement and he is able to manage. My questions are 1. Is it necessary to start the meditation immediately as he is able to manage with just minor discomfort only. (Understood that these medications create side effects) 2. Does starting meditation early or late have any merits / demerits with respect to the progression of the disease? 3. Is this scan report finding confirmed Parkinson? Posterior disc osteophytic complexes from C3-C4 to C6-C7 levels causing mild anterior thecal sac indentation and mild narrowing of spinal canal. Few small perineural cysts are seen in bilateral neural foramina at multiple levels. At C4-C5 & C5-C6 levels, there is mild narrowing of right neural foramen with possible mild impingement of exiting nerve root.
