Hi, My brother's (Age 38) TRODAT result came as below:
Presynaptic dopaminergic dysfunction on both sides (L>R). Doctor Prescribed following tablets and he is yet to start the medication.
1. Rasalect 1 mg (once daily)
2. Amantrel 100mg (twice daily)
Currently the symptoms what he is having is mild and only discomfort in one hand finger movement and he is able to manage. My questions are
1. Is it necessary to start the meditation immediately as he is able to manage with just minor discomfort only.
(Understood that these medications create side effects)
2. Does starting meditation early or late have any merits / demerits with respect to the progression of the disease?
3. Is this scan report finding confirmed Parkinson?
Kindly help with your opinion on this please. Thank you in advance.
I had a accident, fall from motorcycle at around 30-40 km/ hr on 24 th May 2026
Had some cuts at knee and feeling of chest muscles tightness/heaviness
Couldn’t walk for 2 weeks out of home
Then Visited a orthopaedic
He gave a medicine etodolac + thiocolchicoside
Initial few days were good, but one day suddenly had a panic attack like wanting to throw kicks and hands in the air etc
Stopped tooking those medication
Now the pain in the muscles and knee has all gone , No problem in walking, etc
Clear X rays of chest and knee
But mind feels restrictive or hesitant while going out
Like the actions I used to perform before bed rest feels very heavy or sluggish on the mind etc.
Doctor, when I practice mindfulness, I am completely unable to achieve cognitive detachment or the witness state. My awareness gets immediately immersed in incoming thoughts. Could this be related to an altered stimulus filtering mechanism or something like a sensory gating deficit? What is your opinion on this, Doctor?
Osteophytes and mild disc dessication.
Perineural cysts in proximal sacral spinal canal at the level of $2 vertebra.
Mild facet joint arthropathy at l5-$1 level.
Subtle posterocentral disc protrusion at L4-L5 and L5-$1 levels causing mild anterior thecal sac indentation however there is no obvious impingement of nerve roots.
AP spinal canal (thecal sac) diameter:
L1-L2- 13.4mm L2-L3-11.8mm
L3-L4 -11.5mm L4-L5-10.5mm L5-S1-10mm
Spondylotic degenerative changes in form of loss of cervical lordosis, multilevel small marginal endplate osteophytes and disc dessication.
Posterior disc osteophytic complexes from C3-C4 to C6-C7 levels causing mild anterior thecal sac indentation and mild narrowing of spinal canal.
Few small perineural cysts are seen in bilateral neural foramina at multiple levels.
At C4-C5 & C5-C6 levels, there is mild narrowing of right neural foramen with possible mild impingement of exiting nerve root.
For more than 1 year I have been suffering from back and left leg pain and numbness in my leg, I went to a spine surgeon and took an MRI and came to know that I have mild to moderate disc bulge along with nerve compression and prescribed a pain killer, muscle relaxant and supplements for a month. Earlier the pain was more like intense tiredness like pain now the pain which I am having for the last 2 days is like shooting pain going from my buttock to my calf , I don't know if my symptoms are improving or not, I am still getting pain and numbness and I am worried that why the pain and numbness is not going. 15 days are left in my medicine to finish the course. Please help, thank you
