Hello Doctor, I’ve been dealing with extreme light sensitivity for the past few months. Some key symptoms: Negative afterimages after seeing bright light, especially in the morning. These afterimages last for 10–15 minutes, more visible when I blink. Bright lights at night, like vehicle headlights, feel very harsh. Blurriness in vision earlier (especially while looking at the phone), which has slightly improved over time. I had an eye check-up and was told everything looks normal. One doctor mentioned it could be due to delayed retinal response. I was advised to use Eyemist Forte eye drops, which I’ve been using 2–3 times a day for about a month, but I’m still experiencing the same light sensitivity and afterimages. I work in the IT field and use screens for 9–10 hours a day, although I follow the 20-20-20 rule regularly. Also, I have amblyopia in my left eye since childhood. Please advise: Is there any other way to manage this better while continuing my screen-heavy job.
