Hello! I have been unable to take my Xulane BC patch for nearly one month. Ive been on it for nearly 10 years. Its unavailable for purchase near me. Once I fly back home I can restart. What can I expect in terms of side effects of not having it? Please keep in mind that Im not using it for preventing pregnancy. I'm using it to manage my hormonal issues with PCOS, Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, etc. What can I do to navigate the moodiness, irritability, etc until I can put the patch back on? How long will it take for my cycle to balance again?
Hello Doctor,
I am currently pregnant around 11 weeks. I have a past history of urticaria (hives) about 8 years ago.
Since yesterday, I am experiencing severe itching all over my body along with red, raised rashes that appear in patches/lines and keep changing location. The itching is present throughout the day and night.
Today I consulted a doctor and was given an injection for allergy and prescribed Lacto Calamine lotion, but the itching is still continuing.
I would like to know:
1. Can I take a safe antihistamine tablet during pregnancy (like cetirizine)?
2. Do I need any further treatment or tests?
3. Is this condition harmful to my baby?
Please advise on safe treatment options.
Thank you.

I have endometriosis and chocolate cyst since last 1 year. Doctors gave Dienogest 2mg. Have missed periods for that since October. But cyst size have not reduced since that. Before that if was reducing slightly. Now stopped. Don't know what's the solution to this. Will I have to continue Dienogest lifelong?
My wife is 16 weeks pregnant. Since this morning, she has been experiencing mild heaviness and a pulling sensation in the lower vaginal area.
Could you please advise what we should do? Is this something normal during pregnancy, or should we consult a doctor immediately?
