My wife is pregnant and it hasn't been a month yet but we decided to abort the pregnancy. Should I meet a gynae in person or a video consultation will do.
Additionally if I opt for video consultations how would I get the prescribed medication.
Should my wife start taking folic acid now and how much?
Should my partner take any supplements ?
Based on her menstrual cycle, which dates are most fertile?Should we use an ovulation prediction kit (OPK)?
How do we use it correctly?
How often should we have intercourse during the fertile window?
Is there any position that actually improves the chances of pregnancy?
Is there anything we should or shouldn’t do after intercourse?
Do either of us need any blood tests before trying?
Should thyroid, vitamin D, blood sugar, or other tests be done?
Are there any vaccinations that should be taken before pregnancy?
Any foods to eat or avoid?
Should caffeine or alcohol be limited?
What exercise and sleep routine is recommended?
When to investigate further If pregnancy doesn’t happen, after how many months should we come back?
At what point would you recommend a semen analysis or additional fertility tests ?
Hello Doctor, I am experiencing severe vaginal itching and redness since last night, which started about 48 hours after having intercourse on Saturday. There is also a slight unusual odor, and today I noticed a thick, white vaginal discharge. It feels very uncomfortable and irritated from the inside. Could you please diagnose what kind of infection this is and prescribe the appropriate ointment, vaginal suppositories, or oral medications for treatment? Thank you

My menstrual cycles are regular, but in my most recent cycle the flow was noticeably lighter than my usual periods. Earlier I used to have a heavier flow (that's my normal flow day) especially on the second day but this time the overall bleeding was less.
I consulted a gynecologist and underwent the following tests:
Pelvic ultrasound – Normal
CBC – Normal
Thyroid profile (TSH, T3, T4) – Normal
My gynecologist examined the reports prescribed multivitamins and a syrup and advised me to follow up after my next menstrual cycle.
I wanted to ask:
Can stress or anxiety alone cause a temporary decrease in menstrual flow despite normal ultrasound, CBC and thyroid results?
Is it reasonable to observe my next cycle as advised or do you think any further evaluation is needed at this stage?
Thank you.
