Burning sensation in vagina
I experience a burning sensation around my vaginal area whenever I use soap while bathing. I got my period 5 days after my egg pickup, and this problem started on the 5th day of my period. The burning occurs only when I apply soap and continues for a little while afterward. I don't have any other symptoms. Could this be due to irritation or an infection? Should I take any medication or do any tests? From  now 20 days

Burning that happens only with soap and settles afterward usually points to irritation of sensitive vulvar skin, not an infection. The skin there can get more reactive after your egg retrieval and around your period, so a normal soap or fragranced wash can sting more than it used to.
Next Steps
Switch to plain water or a mild, unscented wash for that area, skip bubble baths and tight synthetic underwear for now, and pat dry instead of rubbing. If the burning continues beyond this cycle or happens without soap too, a vaginal swab or pH test can rule out infection.
Health Tips
See your gynaecologist if you notice discharge, odour, itching, or pain during urination or intercourse.
