I had an episode of blurring and scotoma two weeks back in my left eye. I am 37+3 weeks pregnant. Today I went for an eye exam where they used dilating eye drops thrice before the exam. I wasn't told about punctal occlusion to reduce systemic absorption. How long will the medicine stay in my body? Can it harm my baby? Are these drops safe in pregnancy?
Hello dr,my brother is 48 years old married he is having pain in his one eye since 3-4 days it's looking something pimple like in his eye
I'm sharing the images kindly have a look and help me for this thank u...
I have eye sight, and my right eye is 2.25 and my left eye is 2.0 , I don't use spectacles .I use my mobile for a long time , is it causes neck pain ,neck strain and sometimes headache, and my toddler son disturbs my sleep daily. Is it cause to my neck pain .
My brother and her wife. Brother have a spectacle power of -4.25 (one eye) and -4.75 (other eye), and his wife has -5.25 and -4.75. They both have myopia but no known eye diseases.
We would like to know:
1. Does having moderate/high myopia in both parents increase the risk of their child being blind?
2. What is the approximate percentage risk of blindness for the child due to genetics?
I have had myopia since my early teens and I didn't get it corrected back then , 2 yrs ago I got glasses but I rarely wore them (-2.75 left eye , -3 right eye) the power remained the same
Now I got new glasses made (for a better frame) but I see less crisp with my left eye (very slightly tho) but I see well with my old glasses from the left . Overall , I see well with my new + old glasses. But the optometrist said , my eyes are becoming lazy . I'm very scared . Do I need to wear my glasses all the time for both near and far work ?
