Good afternoon doc My baby girl was born with 1.8 kg preterm. At 6 weeks her weight was 3.022 kg At 10 weeks her weight was 4 kg Now at 14 weeks her weight was 5.1 kg She was breastfeeding till one month after that only formula fed. I used Aptamil gold. I had nil milk production after one month even after supplementation and protein rich diet. I have consulted the gynaec for the same as well. She said it might be due to a hormonal imbalance. Please don't judge me that I should be ebf the child. I really tried hard and I could not help. My girl child is 3.5 months now with 5.1 kg weight and I am extremely worried. As After 6 months, the weight of the child doesn't increase at the same pace as during 3 months. My padetrician didn't advise me for the MCT oil and I was not aware of it till yesterday . I don't know why and feel guilty about it I have consulted other padetrician ,he might have advised it .Can I use MCT for my baby if yes what are dosages? If not, what can I do please reply
My baby soon going to b 1 yr has completely stopped breastfeeding from 2 days..his urine output and solid intake are normal..i wanted to nurse him till 2 yrs.. hez crying and biting my nipples wenever m offering him..please let me know wat can be done..teething can be the reason because hez very fussy..wat can i do to nurse him again

My babies are preterm @34 week.
1- how much do they sleep??
2- sometimes lip shivers and show tongue, is normal??
3- sometimes after a brief cry they sleep immediately or suddenly, is ok??
4- splitting up milk curdled from nose n mouth, is normal??
5- when they achieve a milestone ??
6- sometime after taking a multivitamin, she close eye immediately and sleeps for 5-10 minutes then wakeup??

Hey...I had gall bladder stone during pregnancy...now my child is 1.5 month old...today I had drotin tablet since I was facing pain in the upper abdomen...can I breastfeed?? Or should I wait for next 24 hour and dump the milk?
