Post-Stroke Nerve Compression Evaluation

On February 8th, my father had a stroke with an intracerebral bleed of 39 mm in the deep brain, which also caused a paralysis on his right side. Since then, his recovery has been progressing—his speech is clearer than before, though not fully clear yet. He is starting to move his legs, and he can stand with support. The medications have remained the same for the past two months, and the doctor provided a new three-month prescription. At his second checkup, the doctor noted possible nerve compression in his neck and suggested a neck support. However, if this does not improve, surgery might be required. Could you provide a second opinion on whether the nerve compression is likely and if we should consider changing his medication or other interventions at this stage?

Got Hit by Mobile phone on hairline

Hello Doctors, Yes, it may sound funny, and even my relatives are ignoring this, but I am overthinking and worrying about my health. Yesterday, around 3 PM, I was watching my mobile while lying on my bed. I started falling asleep and forgot that the phone was in my hand. Suddenly, it dropped on the left side of my head, just below the parting area. I woke up immediately, felt pain, and rubbed the area with my hand. Usually, when something hits the head, it causes a lump, but in this case, there is no lump. Instead, it feels slightly dented. When I touch the area, I can feel this dent, and it is not present on the right side. Now, I also have a slight headache because of this. I don’t know whether this is serious or if it will become normal after some time. I am literally feeling very stressed about it. It has been more than 24 hours, and I can still feel pain and the dent when I touch the area. Please, doctors, I request you to suggest what I should do, as I really need guidance. 🙏🏻
