My mother, age 45, has been complaining of swelling in her gum for about one month. We visited a dentist, and he said there is some extra tissue growth with color change on the gum. She has no history of tobacco, smoking, gutka, or alcohol use, and there is no ulcer or bleeding.
The dentist prescribed antibiotics and a cream for now. He also mentioned that if it does not improve, he may remove the tissue and send it for biopsy. Because of this, we are very worried and would like proper evaluation and guidance.
How do Dentist manage crown if the bite of the patient is quite deep? My Dentist have had a tough time getting it right because gap is coming in the molar and I don't understand the technical terms, but as per her opinion due to the deep bite, the crown is getting set higher.
Both the tooth for which crown is being done are vulnerable since rct done twice on them- I wanted to know opinion of other Dentist on this complicated case of mine
I have consulted many doctors but no one is able to tell the problem. I am having pain and sensitivity in a few teeth including no.5 upper tooth but as per them there is no problem in any tooth except 5th upper tooth. As per the enclosed opg is there any infection or cavity visible in any of the tooth except no. 5?
I’m experiencing sudden, extreme pain in my back molars specifically when drinking cold or room-temperature water. The sensation is a sharp, intense shock that makes the tooth feel unstable, as if it might fall out. Otherwise, the area feels normal. Please check the attached photo for signs of deep decay, a cracked tooth, or nerve exposure. What are my next steps?
I took my 3.5 year daughter to dentist to screen teeth. Dr suggested and done fluoride coating. Then she ask to do 3 consecutive weeks same procedure. But i saw everywhere 6 months once only fluoride coating done. My daughter had no decay teeth too. What I do next? Can I go another three sitting or avoid?
