My mother's chest xray shows cardiomegaly with prominent bronchovascular markings, It was done as pre op for cataract surgery next week. Other reports are normal, will this lead to the OT being cancelled? I am very tensed
Hi My 16 year old niece has been diagnised with Lupus just 1 month back.though all her test reports till now are showing improvement recently her pulse rate is fluctuating but blood pressure is ok. Pulse rate varies between 82 to 120. She has been advised to go for Holter test she has already got a good report of ecocardiogram. Esr is showing high at 28 and Anaemia is shwing as her hemoglobin is 9.8 , improved in a month from 8.1. My question is: What does Holter test find out?
Due to dilation of Aortic Root and Ascending Aorta ( 4.8 cms ) I was told by Cardiologist to measure bp once in two weeks and if Systolic above 130 consistently to see him. My BP now is 130/100. He did not mention about diastolic pressure. Is this an issue or can the diastolic value be ignored if Systolic is normal. Taking Concor AM 5mg.
