Good afternoon doc My baby girl was born with 1.8 kg preterm. At 6 weeks her weight was 3.022 kg At 10 weeks her weight was 4 kg Now at 14 weeks her weight was 5.1 kg She was breastfeeding till one month after that only formula fed. I used Aptamil gold. I had nil milk production after one month even after supplementation and protein rich diet. I have consulted the gynaec for the same as well. She said it might be due to a hormonal imbalance. Please don't judge me that I should be ebf the child. I really tried hard and I could not help. My girl child is 3.5 months now with 5.1 kg weight and I am extremely worried. As After 6 months, the weight of the child doesn't increase at the same pace as during 3 months. My padetrician didn't advise me for the MCT oil and I was not aware of it till yesterday . I don't know why and feel guilty about it I have consulted other padetrician ,he might have advised it .Can I use MCT for my baby if yes what are dosages? If not, what can I do please reply
My daughter attained puberty on September 4th and it lasted for 2 days. She got her next period on 23 September and lasted for 9 days and next got her 3 periods on 19th October and it is still continuing. Though it is not heavy sometimes after the 4th day it was like no bleeding sometimes then it starts again but not heavy. Is it fine. She is 12 year old. Can someone reply to this query?
Is cluster feeding included from midnight 12:00 am to 5 am as my baby girl is 1.5 months old and she sleeps in morning for 4hrs and pattern of feeding is first half hour feeding and 15to 30 playing time which includes tummy time and 10 mins roaming with her in arms and sleeping time ... But from evening onwards she feeds after every 2 hrs and at night feeding is continuous after half n hour from 12am to 5 am .. Can u help me with this ??
My son is 51 days old. for last few days he is crying very intensively in evening which is very hard to console. even if you able to console he gets soothes for 5-10 minutes and starts again. we gave him colicaid which doesnot seems working for him. I tried colimex which helped him but am unsure since its prescribed for 6 months plus.
Also, is he having colic or aomething else.
My daughter will turn 1 year on 28th this month her weight now is 7.8kg. Is this weight ok? Also is it a fact or myth that the child will suffer from fever or any mild health concern in every milestone. Like when they start to roll over or crawl or sit or stand or when new teeth grow.
