I had been taking Ziblok (Atenolol)-25mg once a day in the morning for my hypertension since 10 years but lately my bp had been in the range of 150/100 so my doctor changed the dose to Ziblok 50 mg and asked to wait for 15 days and if the bp still remains in the same range he will add a medicine for evening as well. I used to have my medicine after my morning walk with breakfast,is it okay to continue doing that or should I have the medicine before going for my walk since it's been 3 days since the medicine change but still bp remains in 140-150/100 range, will the BP rise too much if I go on walk without taking medicine?
