Got annual checkup done. LDL cholesterol is 120 mg/dl , total cholesterol is 190, hdl is 56. Last when checked in June 2023 LDL was 98.20, total cholesterol was 160, hdl was 53. I'm a vegetarian, weight is 51 kg, I don't consume sugar except having one glass of tea in the evening. I started doing exercises and light workout since feb 2024. My lipid profile was normal even though I was not working out and eating normal like now. Now it's showing high even though I've been more active than before and I don't even know at junk food. Also chloride serum shows 108, earlier it was 107 .. is it interrelated .. is chloride and LDL levels are of concern? What's the cause ? So I've any issue with my kidneys or heart? How do I lower the LDL and chloride pls suggest. Medical history have been added in other box and attached blood report.
My father, aged 65, underwent open-heart surgery six years ago. Since one year post-surgery, he has had rashes on his leg as shown in the photo. We have consulted many dermatologists, heart specialists, and even Siddha practitioners, but there has been no remarkable change. Which specialist should we consult?
