  4. 2D ECHO REPORT. Left ventricle edd sir?

2D ECHO REPORT
Dear sir Today I done a 2d echo, in that left ventricle EDD IS 5.1 and earlier report it is 4.0 and 4.8 ( I done 2 times in the last two years). Is this any problem?? My heart is enlarged?? Upto at what value left ventricle EDD IS normal sir?? Please check the report sir. Is there any medicine to decrease the left ventricle EDD SIR??

Hi, I’ve seen your echo report. In adult males LVEDD dimension up to 55mm is considered normal . If you don’t have any symptoms , then no further work up is needed. Discrepancy in the echo reports could be bcz of subjective error
