Is humidifiers safe??

Hello, i have a question regarding to humidifiers for babies..its really hot here in chennai so we bought a humidifier to keep it in the room..as our 3 n half months baby sleep with us in our same room i am afraid to use it now because it might affect him..is it safe to use?? Will it cause any problem to my little baby? I need your advice doctors..Thanks a lot :)

8 mnth child 2weeks fever

My 8 months old niece is having persistent fever for the past 2 weeks. It normalises on give antipyretics but repeats in a 8-10 hours or so. She has a normal diet but skips meals sometimes. Also she vomited about 2-3 times. A blood test report showed a high lymphocyte count of 58. Also she traveled about 400kms just last week. Although comfortably, i wonder if it affects. What can be the reason? What do you suggest? Thank You in advance.
