I have attached my humerous bone implant x ray . Done operation in 2024 in month of March . No details provided about the implant about the manufacture type and material . Doctor said today that it is stainless steel. I want to know whether I am eligible for MRI ? Because I don't think there is need to remove the implant as it is not causing any issues in me . But for future mishaps may be I want to reassure whether I can do MRI with this implant . Please let me know what to do ahead
A heavy pan fell on my right foot about 10 months ago, not sure if this is the reason but whenever I play sports etc, a shooting pain starts from my thumb till my mid foot area and a bulge appears there. RICE method helps a little but is this a permanent solution everytime since it's recurring? Do I need to consult a doctor? If yes, which specialist? Bone or nerves?
I have shoulder pain for last five months. I took a MRI. It said the following. Supraspinatus tendinosis without evidence of tear. Mild acromioclavicular joint arthropathy. Minimal subacromial–subdeltoid bursitis. MRI of neck is normal. I have not had any significant pain relief yet. Pain is still same. My doubt is - How long is the mri taken in Jan 2026 valid for ? There has not been any injuries or falls after that. For my condition , for how long should I consider this mri valid ?
