History: I have been diagnosed with Eustachian Tube Dysfunction (ETD). It has been 28 days now, and my ear symptoms are feeling better than before.
Current Medicine: For this, I have been taking Monticope tablet once daily for the last 14 days.
New Symptoms (Side Effects):
I am experiencing sleep paralysis (unable to move while waking up/sleeping).
Continuous hand muscle twitching starting from last night.
Feeling severely depressed or low mood (mood off).
Since Monticope contains Montelukast, I am worried about these neuropsychiatric side effects. Since my ETD is improving, please suggest a safe alternative medicine or nasal spray to replace Monticope. Thank you.
Ear fullness glued like feel tinitus from last 6 months already took heavy dose of antibiotic antisthamine n mucolyic doses along with deca 6 combinase spray n karvol plus steam but still feeling heavy in ear. Attaching typnogram n audiometry report pls advise no relief
Left Ear feeling heavy, tinitus n fullness from Feb 2026.
Doctor prescribed 10 days twice a day- eebas 20, deca 6 , RUTHBRO, AZIBRO LMT and combinase FT spray twice a day. Along with steam karvol plus once a day . Felt 60% better but again after swimming again ear felt full n heavy. So again same course was repeated for 15 days along with 5 days of Otocap VT n Levocitrizine.
Now when I do very forceful vasalva menuvr I feel a little temporary relief from upper side of ear but down side is still feel stuck. Audiometry n typnogram shoes mixed hearing loss
Feeling heavy pressure like glued ear and tinitus in left ear from last 6 months due to cold
Did audiometry n typnogram test which shows mixed hearing loss in left ear
Took steam for 20 days with karvol plus, 10-10 days each
10*10 *5days below med
eebas 20 ,cfx cv , Ruthbro , deca 6 twice a day
Azibro LMT once a day
Combinase FT nasal spray twice a day
5 days otocap vt n levocitrizine once a day
After 20 days when I am doing too much forceful valsalva maneuvr it is shifting the pressure from top of ear to bottom but heaviness is there n I get a temporary relief from tinitus that time
Also when I yawn I see some relief for a second only
Too much distress n tensed with heavy meds not able to continue them
Please somebody guide me what to do next as this tinitus n heaviness is killing me
My dr said I have hypertrophied tonsils and it needs to operate. Is it really necessary and we cannot treat this with meds?
I have on off pain on left side of throat and it feels something is stuck or a thorn is there from last 1.5 month , changed multiple docs, all said infection but today my physician said it's hypertrophied tonsils
