My period is expected around 13th August, but I started having small amounts of bleeding/spotting from 6th August. It is not a proper period flow — it has only been occasional small amounts of blood, along with mild period-like cramps.
My last period was on 18th July.
I usually have a cycle of around 27 days. I also had unprotected sex on 5th August.
Could this spotting be related to ovulation, hormonal changes, or my period coming early? Given that I had unprotected sex, could this be related to pregnancy, and when should I take a pregnancy test to rule it out? Should I get any other tests or examination because of the unusual spotting?
I am experiencing symptoms after having unprotected, dry sex one week ago. A couple of days after sex, I noticed a big bump on my vulva (the outer loose skin). Now I am on my 2nd/3rd day of my period, and the first bump has shrunk, but two new tiny bumps have appeared side-by-side. The area is quite itchy and irritated by my sanitary pads. Had unprotected intercourse on May 24 and took i-pill within 10 hours. I had no spotting or bleeding afterward. My periods usually come between the 6th and 10th of each month. On June 6, I had a period which is a bit heavy than the usual flow for 4–5 days and stopped. Could this have been spotting or was it a regular period? My next period came on July 7 and lasted 4–5 days with my usual flow. I have had no intercourse since May 24. Today is August 11, and my period hasn't come yet. Could I still be pregnant, or is this delay likely due to the pill? When can I expect my period?
