Fever started 2 weeks back and was resolved with dolo and meftal in 4 days. Fever came back after the gap of 8-9 days and doctor advised CBC blood test and tab O2 suspecting bacterial infection. CBC blood test report shows WBC 18000, after checking the report he added cefixime 400 as well. Is it okay to combine both the antibiotics?
Hi everyone, I'm posting on behalf of my friend. She recently got her blood tests done, and I'd appreciate a thorough review of her reports. The main concerns are: Hemoglobin: 11.1 (low) ESR: 68 (significantly elevated) Serum Iron: 41 and Transferrin Saturation: 10.04% (low) TSH: 6.614 (elevated) Vitamin D: 17 (deficient) HDL: 44 (slightly low) Urine Leucocyte Esterase: 1+ Could you please help identify possible underlying causes, what further tests are needed, and what treatment or dietary changes would be recommended? Particularly concerned about the high ESR and TSH.
My brother had tb in 2023. Then he got cured. But in 2024 I went for eye check up. Dir told me you have tb bacteria in your eyes but not active so no treatment. Now in 2026 I got abdominal tuberculosis. 5 months are over. But I am worried. Should I inform my doctor or is it affecting my eyes too. I am just so scared.
