My 6 year old has started basketball classes after school. It happens from 3 pm to 4 pm (Bangalore). It's not that sunny during this time. We could see that her skin is getting tanned a little day by day. Do we have to apply Sunscreen at this age? Or can we leave it as it is?

My daughter is 1 year old with weight of 6.8kg. For past 2 days she is passing out greenish colored and liquidy stools. She is also refusing to eat anything that we offer. We are giving her ORS water frequently and trying to offer her plain rice but she is rejecting rice however she drinks ORS water and also sometimes feeding on mother's milk. We went to a paediatrician and he prescribed her antibiotics and a probiotic directly saying it is a bacterial infection. I am skeptical of his approach and am reluctant to start her on antibiotics directly. What is standard protocol in such cases. Should the doctor have prescribed zinc initially to her heal her guy lining and the next steps should be antibiotics.
