Lower Back Pain Treatment

Health Q&A
Recurring Bulge/pain in mid-foot

A heavy pan fell on my right foot about 10 months ago, not sure if this is the reason but whenever I play sports etc, a shooting pain starts from my thumb till my mid foot area and a bulge appears there. RICE method helps a little but is this a permanent solution everytime since it's recurring? Do I need to consult a doctor? If yes, which specialist? Bone or nerves?

Fibula head fracture

I have a fibula head fracture in Right Knee. The doctor advised not to do plaster and advised to use hinged braces. Would it heal without plaster?

Knee Pain Grade I Meniscus Tear Recovery

I am a 35 year old woman from Bangalore (5 Feet 6 Inch Height, 74 Kg Weight). I was having knee pain for maybe close to 18 months. The pain was not constant, kind of intermittent. I actually wear heels 4-5 days a week, heels with 3-4 inch heel. I got MRI done of both knees post doctor's advise. Key findings:  Right Knee-“Grade I horizontal tear of posterior horn of medial meniscus. Left Knee-Grade I horizontal tear of posterior horn of medial and lateral menisci. Reviewing the MRI reports, my doctor advised me to start physiotherapy focused on Quadriceps & VMO strengthening exercises. I have begun the exercises, and it has been about 2 weeks so far. The pain is there, sometimes more. Wanted opinion on:  1. How long does it typically take for this condition to improve and for the pain to go away? 2. Is it fully curable?  3. Will I be able to wear high heels (3–4 inches) occasionally in future, perhaps 3–4 days a week for about 2–3 hours a day? Please guide the best. Thank you

Body parts problem.

Suddenly, my right hand feels numb and weak. I am also experiencing a mild pain in my right hand. Some time ago, I sustained an injury to my left knee, and that old injury has flared up again. I am finding it difficult to climb up to elevated places. I am very poor; I would be deeply grateful if someone could offer me some assistance.
