The hip resurfacing procedure involves placing cobalt-chrome metal cap, which is hollow and looks like a mushroom, in the pelvis socket. In hip resurfacing, the femoral head top is shaped to allow it to fit the bottom of the femur cap comfortably.During the hip resurfacing procedure caution is used for the patients who are suffering from rheumatoid arthritis and have small or thin bones.

I have shoulder pain for last five months. I took a MRI. It said the following. Supraspinatus tendinosis without evidence of tear. Mild acromioclavicular joint arthropathy. Minimal subacromial–subdeltoid bursitis. MRI of neck is normal. I have not had any significant pain relief yet. Pain is still same. My doubt is - How long is the mri taken in Jan 2026 valid for ? There has not been any injuries or falls after that. For my condition , for how long should I consider this mri valid ?
I am a 35 year old woman from Bangalore (5 Feet 6 Inch Height, 74 Kg Weight). I was having knee pain for maybe close to 18 months. The pain was not constant, kind of intermittent. I actually wear heels 4-5 days a week, heels with 3-4 inch heel. I got MRI done of both knees post doctor's advise. Key findings: Right Knee-“Grade I horizontal tear of posterior horn of medial meniscus. Left Knee-Grade I horizontal tear of posterior horn of medial and lateral menisci. Reviewing the MRI reports, my doctor advised me to start physiotherapy focused on Quadriceps & VMO strengthening exercises. I have begun the exercises, and it has been about 2 weeks so far. The pain is there, sometimes more. Wanted opinion on: 1. How long does it typically take for this condition to improve and for the pain to go away? 2. Is it fully curable? 3. Will I be able to wear high heels (3–4 inches) occasionally in future, perhaps 3–4 days a week for about 2–3 hours a day? Please guide the best. Thank you
