I want to gain muscle. My height is 171 cm, and my weight is 71 kg. However, I am not seeing much muscle growth.
I wanted to ask if I can take whey protein to support muscle growth. Some people have told me that whey protein can be harmful to the body, so I’m confused about whether I should start taking it or not.
I’ve also heard that there are many fake whey protein brands available in the market, so I’m not sure which brand is safe and genuine. I have attached an image of a whey protein brand that I am considering. Could you please let me know if it is safe to use and whether you would recommend it?

I am a 32-year-old female, height 156 cm. My weight was 58 kg until March 2025, but it suddenly increased to 63 kg. Despite reducing sugar, exercising regularly, following diets, and trying home remedies, I have been unable to lose weight.
I have had severe constipation since my pregnancy 8 years ago, along with bloating and abdominal distension. I had PCOS in the past. In April 2025, I consulted a Siddha doctor for PCOS and took medicines for one month. I spent around ₹10,000, but I noticed weight gain and stopped the treatment. Since January 2026, my periods have become regular and I currently do not have PCOS symptoms.
