My periods started on 8th Sep and finished around 12-13th Sep. However, I started light spotting on 17th Sep. Had intercourse on the 18th. Spotting is light-medium. Why am I spotting after my periods are over?

I had spotting for the first few days around my date of period, then I started bleeding normally on the last Monday and since then I am bleeding it's been more than 7 days during this time I am loosing big clots of blood too, I didn't have periods like this, it's completely painless and I don't feel weak but it's just the bleeding isn't stopping. Hi doctors i had vaginal itching but no discharge so I went to Gynecologist she said fungal infection & took for swab test but report says " scanty growth of normal flora " but Gynecologist said no medicines required and asked to apply only candid gel my hba1c is 5.4
But my itching is still there
Is there any oral medication ?
