I have to go through submandibular gland excision. I have some quarries regarding this. How painful is that operation. Once I wake up from anesthesia how intense pain I shall feel. Is there any possibility to eliminate or minimize this pain.
My girlfriend's CT scan of the nose shows an S-shaped deviated nasal septum (DNS) with a right septal spur and hypertrophied nasal turbinates. Because of this, she sometimes experiences difficulty breathing through the nose, especially during the night.
Her biggest problem is that she is unable to sleep properly. Most nights she sleeps only 3 to 4 hours, and she often wakes up because of nasal blockage. This issue is affecting her daily life and overall health.
She had a previous fainting episode, so I also got a CT brain scan done, which came back normal.
Could you please advise:
Whether these symptoms can be caused by DNS and enlarged turbinates.
If she needs to see an ENT specialist urgently.
Whether any safe nasal spray or medicines can help relieve the blockage and improve her sleep.
Whether surgery might be required if medicines do not work.
She has no known brain abnormality according to the CT scan. Please guide us on the best treatment.
Hello Doctor,
I have been experiencing symptoms suggestive of Meniere’s Disease, including episodes of vertigo, occasional hearing disturbance, and earlier I had some noise sensation in the ear.
Currently, most of my reports (MRI, EEG, VNG) are normal.
I would like your guidance regarding the best course of treatment.
Kindly advise on the next steps.
Thank you.
Hi, i have been facing pain in my upper eyebrow bone since quite sometime. And there is blood in morning mucus as well every morning. And this mucus comes from mouth and sometime from right nostril. Can this be common in sinus inflammation? I took nasal spray recommended by my ENT but it hasn't stopped. What can be the reason, can anyone help as i am worried.
