Hi doctors, my mom has been having type 2 diabetes since Dec 2022. She has been a hypertension induced mild ckd since 3 years. Undergone a angioplasty in September 2022 and after two months she was diagnosed to be diabetic. Before that she was not diabetic. She is having glucose lowering medication since Dec 2023 and her glucose levels were under control for a year. It has spiked now to 290 and now the doc has increased the dosage of metformin and losar and added Volibo to the list. After two days of having, she is not able to eat anything. Says that she is not interested in eating at all. As she is on medication, eating less is making her dizzy.
Could the increased dosage be the reason? Kindly help
