My boyfriend is developing a dependency on alcohol due to his anxiety, depression and his bad mental health in general. He was only an occasional drinker all his life but since the last year he's been drinking frequently. First it was only a few drinks every other day and now it's many drinks on the daily. He's had struggles with his mental health all his life mainly because of his past. He also has unhealed trauma. He says he's using alcohol as a coping mechanism. It helps him deal with his inner struggles. When he drinks, he feels amazing. He also said this is also one of the reasons why he's kind of a workaholic. He's over-working all day and then when it's evening and he's done working, he's drinking. He uses his work and alcohol as a coping mechanism and as a distraction from the negative, dark thoughts in his mind. He doesn't want to go for therapy. What to do? I'm worried for him. He admits that this is early stage of alcoholism. He's 35 years old, is healthy and fit otherwise.

Why i feel that i am dead and everything around me is not real and may be in dream or i am dead.It is really difficult for me to come back and realise.Someone has to pinch me or hit me hard or constantly talk.I get really panicked and feel i will fall down. I am afraid to take lifts alone and go to washroom or flights or trains.anywhere at night it can happen.I feel i have to come out of that place to escape else i will suffocate once happened in train which is dangerous post that i avoid. Strange thing is i cant go to washroom with lights on ,i prefer dark else it triggers. Plus i am not comfortable looking at mirror at night Morning things are normal. I am frustrated. Its almost more than 20 years i am leaving with it and it is impacting me and confidence. I am really worried Please tell me what is it.
