My father has been diagnosed with cml on the basis of high tlc and doctor conducted some test . Some results have come but still some reports are pending. Till then to decrease the wbc one of the doctor said to take hydroxyurea twice a day and other suggested to get admitted in hospital to decrease tlc. In february i went for a routine check up and my wbc was 13000 and i had high bp. Since then my wbc count is fluctuating every month I had to take a cbc test and results were 17000 then 18000 then 16000 and now it's 14530. It's been 4 months and still hasn't gone down with medication. I have high crp which reduced from 20 to 14.30 but wbc count is the same. I'm worried as to what the reason could be for this, I have also taken tests in february, FISH fr bcr aab- negative procalcitonin- normal and CRP test- 20.0 I also have a few deficiencies Vitamin d- 14.3 Vitamin B12- 177 FSH- 1.2 A haemetologist has asked to wait till September and then get a bone marrow test.
