I have detected with Submandibular gland stone of arround 16 mm. Doctor suggested to operate the gland by external incision. Is this surgery done under general anasthesia. How painful is the submandibular gland removal surgery. Will there be any pain immediately after the surgery once I will return in sense from anesthesia? If yes is there any option to eliminate this? I have phobia and fear of surgery.
There are two lumps under my jaw on both sides and one lump in centre as well . I first noticed it 2 yrs ago since then it is of same size and does not increase or decrease. I have been suffering from tonsil stones on my right tonsil for years. I cannot manually remove them. It very rarely comes out when coughing. It's causing me persistent bad breath no matter what I do. I've already tried salt water gargle, mouthwash and all the remedies available. When I touch my right tonsil and smell it, it's awful.
