Health Q&A
Low magnesium level or something else

Doctor, please help. I can't afford a consultation, so I'm seeking guidance here. My Vitamin D was 19 ng/mL earlier; after taking Uprise-D3 weekly, it is now above 60 ng/mL. My muscle pain and body aches have improved but still occur occasionally. Today's serum magnesium is 1.74 mg/dL. ( Range 1.9-3.1 mg/dL)Could this magnesium level be causing my remaining symptoms, and what should I do next? I'll be very grateful for your advice.

Is whey protein safe ?

Hello Doctor, I want to gain muscle. My height is 171 cm, and my weight is 71 kg. However, I am not seeing much muscle growth. I wanted to ask if I can take whey protein to support muscle growth. Some people have told me that whey protein can be harmful to the body, so I’m confused about whether I should start taking it or not. I’ve also heard that there are many fake whey protein brands available in the market, so I’m not sure which brand is safe and genuine. I have attached an image of a whey protein brand that I am considering. Could you please let me know if it is safe to use and whether you would recommend it? Thank you.

Pre workout and whey protein

Hi I am Joel 37 year old IT professional and I'm pre diabetic from last 3-4 years. My sugar levels are not so good as I'm not consistent with my diet. So my main question is I have started gym from dec and I'm seeing my improvement in my physic. I am eating natural only like egg whites, chicken and possible sources of protein. My question as a diabetic can I have the pre workout and post work out shakes available which are available from market like muscle blaze, dynamite, well being, supply6 products? Is it safe for diabetic people to use? Does it have artificial sugars which affect the body? Pls suggest.

Background:, I've had 2 C sections, total hysterectomy and operated for Hiatus Hernia. Am a bit over weight, so I do intermittent fasting, early dinner before 8pm and 16 hours of fasting. Excercise in the morning, however my weight is stagnant, doesn't increase or decrease Also my digestion is too slow which results in constipation.
