Pain in side neck

After travelling in a car fo almost a day 12 days back, I have started pain radiating in my side neck which is intense at certain movement.The spot is mostly change though I have changed to left side of neck from right neck side or even backneck in between.It givrs little relief if I sleep at night with hard pillow.The pain is so intense that many time a yawn or sneeze can't be completed when I feel like.I am experiencing this since last 12 days now, with occasional relief sometimes. Please help if possible!

Bad Posture

I have kyphosis and lordosis as well which has also resulted in a forward head posture, this puts me to great discomfort especially when I'm sitting and time to time, I need to lie down but when I'm outside, I can't lie down, would surgery be a bad idea at my age? Also, what exercises can I do?
