Health Q&A
Pregnancy risk after condom tear

Hello Doctor, my girlfriend’s last period started around 24th May, and for the last few months her cycle has been normal and regular. We had intercourse on 21st June and unfortunately the condom tore, and the entire semen went inside her vagina. It has now been more than 48 hours since the incident. She is also having some cramps and breast tenderness and feels that her period may be due soon. In this situation, should I give her an Unwanted 72 tablet now, or is it not required considering her cycle timing? Please advise what would be the best step.

Vulval candidiasis

I have vulval candidiasis first diagnosed in 2023 with itching near layers close to clitoris and curd like discharge. It keeps reoccurring after every 3-4 months mostly after periods or usage of pads. I have done treatment of flucanzole, yellow vaginal insert tablet Bilastine 40mg , itracanzazole, local application tube lulicanzazole, fenza capsule 600 mg over past 2-3 years. I keep them handy whenever the infection triggers I consume them. But it just keeps reoccurring. Early used to reoccurring every 2 months Now when I moved to itracanzaznole it moved to 4 months . How can I treat it completely? It's very stressful and sometimes hamper my activities and is discomforting. How to fix it from root.

Pregnancy confusion nd delay period

Hello Doctor, I am confused about my period and possible pregnancy. I had a cervical infection before, and doc advised me to do an HPV test, which came back negative. also prescribed some vaginal push medicines, but I have not been using them regularly. Coz i think if i am pregnant ,. On June 11, I experienced some spotting. After that, I had a serum beta-hCG (blood pregnancy) test, and the result was negative. Later, I had unprotected intercourse on June 15, 16, and 17. Today is June 22/23, and my period still has not started. Currently, I am having vaginal discharge, bloating, mild breast pain, and a tingling/pulling sensation on one side of my lower abdomen. Could these symptoms be related to pregnancy, my delayed period, or the cervical/vaginal infection? Also, should I take a pregnancy test tomorrow morning, or would it be better to wait a few more days for a more reliable result?
