Health Q&A
Is this any foreskin infection ?

Hello Doctor, I have a concern regarding my foreskin. For quite some time, it seems to have remained retracted behind the glans, and occasionally I feel as though it gets stuck there, especially when I wear tight pants or jeans and go outside for work. When I gently retracted the foreskin a little further than its usual position, I noticed that the outermost edge/tip of the prepuce seems to be somewhat stuck or attached to the shaft. I am wondering whether this could be the reason why my foreskin is unable to cover the glans normally. I would prefer not to undergo circumcision. Could you please advise whether there is any cream, ointment, or other non-surgical treatment that could help resolve this problem? I would appreciate your advice on whether I should be examined in person and what treatment would be appropriate. Thank you, Doctor.

Hyperpigmentation after (friction)

Hello, Doctor. About a year ago, I had threading done on my neck and forehead, after which the skin in those areas became dark. In April, I consulted a doctor, who suggested chemical peels and laser treatment for better results. However, there is no good dermatologist in my area, so I could not get these treatments done. The doctor also advised me to get some blood tests, which showed that I had Vitamin D and Vitamin B12 deficiencies. I took the prescribed supplements and followed the recommended skincare routine. However, even after using them for some time, the dark pigmentation on my neck and forehead has not improved. Will this pigmentation fade over time, or is it possible for it to go away completely

Skin eruption

Dry and peeling lips

Hi doctor, I have been having a problem with my lips for the past few months. Earlier, my lips would only become dry and cracked during winters, but this time they have been getting very dry even in summer. Almost every day, the inner skin of my lips starts peeling, and sometimes my lips feel very dry and uncomfortable. I have tried plain Vaseline, but the peeling continued even while using it. I recently stopped using Vaseline, but now my lips  become very dry but peeling is not that much . I also make sure that I stay well hydrated. Could you please tell me what might be causing it and what I can safely use to help my lips heal?

Painful pimples

Have some painful, raised pimples on my cheek. I have been using benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel at night. Recently, I notice slight itching for a while after applying the gel, but I do not have burning. I also use Dot & Key face wash and Ponds moisturizer. The face wash feels comfortable and does not irritate my skin. Please tell me what could be causing these pimples and whether I should continue using benzoyl peroxide 2.5% gel.
