Bad Dreams Remedies

Prazosin nightly doses have been found to be curative for those affected by chronic nightmares. In 2001 a landmark study was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that IRT or imagery rehearsal therapy was effective in not only curbing nightmares but reducing PTSD symptoms as well among victims of sexual assault. The dreams of the initial stages of sleep are simpler and short when compared to REM dreams, which are often bizarre and detailed.

Sleep Disorder

Namaste Doctor, I am a 27 year old who has started to work since three years in some company, and the timings for work used to be from 12:30 PM to 11:00 AM. I used to sleep by 1 or 2 AM since two and half years. I have resigned and started preparing for a professional course since three months and started to experience my sleeping timings very much disturbed like, I stay awake all the night with so much energy and I'd get sleep only by 5 or 6:30 in the morning and started to get up by 2 'O clock in the morning. I have tried many a times to sleep by 9 PM and get up by early morning for almost 4 days thinking that I'd may succeed back the normal sleep routine. Despite getting the desired results, I didn't get sleep for next 25 hours almost. I somehow need to change my sleep pattern else this is really going to effect my career. I am staying in Chennai, if anyone is from Chennai and have read this, kindly let me know your details, I'd make an immediate appointment.Thank you.

I have my best concentration at night . So I usually study till late midnight (2 am) and wake up at 5 am in the morning . So i sleep only for 3 hrs in night But I take sound sleep in the day for 4 hrs (12pm-4pm). So is that fulfilling my sleeping quota or I am sleep deprived. Is it harmful or okay Plz guide me and suggest changes if any. Thanks
