Early Pregnancy Confirmation & Concern

My LMP was 4 Aug 2026 and my cycles are regular (28 days). My period was due around 31 Aug, but I haven't got it. I took multiple home UPTs, which were positive, and another gynecologist also noted UPT positive yesterday. I have a history of right ectopic pregnancy in 2017 and right salpingectomy. I have not yet told my husband about the positive UPT. I am planning to take him to a gynecologist and tell him only that my period is delayed, so that the doctor can confirm the pregnancy directly. During intercourse, my husband usually withdraws before ejaculation and does not ejaculate inside. My concern is: can my husband ask the doctor for a DNA/paternity test, and would the doctor suggest one on their own? Is it okay to take him to the consultation without telling him beforehand about the positive UPT? Should I privately inform the doctor about my positive tests and previous ectopic history?
