Ive overbite issue and some doctor said for braces they will remove my 4 tooth , wont it create gap , it would look worse than present I dont know if i should go for braces or not but issue is significant and I want to improve and removal of 4 tooth is not joke
Did surgical wisdom tooth extraction 4 days ago. no pain and no discomfort. everything was normal. in the 5th day exactly after 100 hours of surgery I went to my dentist to check whether healing is alright. he checked by opening the mouth and inserting his instrument and told that everything is fine. clot is ok and gym tissue are healing and opening is closing. but after his checkup i started feeling continuous pain which was not there.is it normal.

History: Had scaling done previously. A past procedure left me with tooth sensitivity and concern about enamel wear, making me hesitant about aggressive ultrasonic scaling. The current black deposits can be wiped off partially with a cloth (indicating soft biofilm/stain rather than hard calculus). Stains rapidly recur near the gumline and cervical surfaces. Questions: Could this be chromogenic bacterial staining or iron-related extrinsic stain? What gentle, non-abraded options (e.g., air polishing, stain-removal paste) exist to clean this safely without damaging enamel or worsening sensitivity? How can I prevent quick recurrence?
