I had my first scaling of my life 6 months ago at 28 years of age.. It was extremely painful to me as I was shouting throughout the procedure and dentist sir couldn't complete all the teeth also due to this., may be because gums were all inflamed and always bleeded whenever I flossed, Now I am scheduled for another scaling, I want to know if someway I can get less pain during scaling... My parents also do scaling and they never feel such pain...

My father developed a tongue ulcer related to a tooth issue, for which he underwent a dental implant procedure. After 4 months, a ulcer developed again in tongue and is not healing since 3 weeks. We have also noticed a small black spot on the ulcer. He does not have any history of tobacco use or smoking. No diabetes Kindly advise whether we should consult a Dentist / ENT specialist / OMFS or General doctor for further assessment?
Dear Sir/Mam, I am 32 year old. I have habit of gutkha chewing. A dark, mole-like spot has appeared on the inner side of my right cheek. It causes neither pain nor a burning sensation. It has been there for about 2–3 days. I noticed it while I was examining a blister on my tongue. The blister causes slight pain, and this is the second time in the last 10 days that a blister has appeared at this exact same spot. One had occurred at this location just 4–5 days ago as well, and at that time, it healed on its own. I don't have any kind of burning sensation in mouth. I have Tess ointment. Can I apply Tess on ulcer and mole. Otherwise kindly suggest a treatment for both this spot and the blister?
The left sided lower gum is swollen and it is causing me immense pain. I am unable to eat properly. I had done gargling with hot water and salt once and that did give me some relief but no visible results. What to do??
