Hello, I am Dr. Romain Rajan, General Physician.
I understand your concern â it is common to notice changes in energy, vision, and urination with diet and exercise. Since you have lost weight from 92 to 83 kg and improved your lifestyle, these positive changes often reflect better blood sugar control
â Advices
⢠Continue maintaining a balanced diet with controlled portions of carbohydrates and regular protein intake
⢠Keep up your exercise routine, combining both strength training and moderate cardio, as this improves insulin sensitivity
⢠Stay hydrated and monitor your overall energy levels and vision after meals
What to Monitor
⢠Watch for symptoms like excessive thirst, frequent urination, unexplained fatigue, or blurred vision
⢠Track your weight and waist circumference regularly
Management
You may consider repeating your HbA1c test to see the improvement. This will give a clear picture of your average blood sugar over the past 2â3 months
When to Consult a Doctor Immediately
⢠Persistent blurred vision or sudden vision changes
⢠Excessive thirst or frequent urination returning
⢠Unexplained rapid weight loss or recurrent fatigue
Every patientâs situation is unique. For accurate assessment and lasting guidance, it is important to discuss your medical history and lifestyle in detail

Definitely your HbA1c must have reduced for borderline prediabetic range to normal. Since 3 months have passed so a repeat HbA1c can be done, along with lipid profile.
A further decrease in weight is advisable as per your height and BMI.
HbA1c of 5.7 was normal. May repeat but not needed actually. Keep up workout sessions. Do not aim for sudden rapid weight loss but gradually by workout. Eat healthy.

Hba1c shows us the control over the sugar in the past 3 month

But i would recommend to wait for 1 more month and then repeat the test
Next Steps

Replace carbs in your diet with fibre, protein and trans-fats to get required energy to fulfil daily body requirements..... Repeat HbA1C ... Previous values were normal so no need to worry much.... Don't lose weight very rapidly, it can lead to problems like Aortic Compression syndrome due to sudden major weight loss.... Reach out to me in case of any diet recommendations
First of all, congratulations on your weight loss journey, as it has improved your physical and mental status.
Every 3 mornhs you have to repeat hba1c for keeping your levels at track, that's simple.
Continue what you're doing now : on a regular basis, and have a helathy beautiful life!
Slow and steady wins the race
Hba1c 5.7 is upper normal range. As you have already started dieting and exercising for the last 3 months, you may have improved, repeat the hba1c, to compare.
Your previous HbA1c of 5.7% was at the upper limit of normal and considered prediabetes by most guidelines. With your weight loss, improved diet, and regular exercise, it is very likely that your blood sugar control has improved. Feeling energetic, having clear vision after meals, and no frequent urination are all positive signs.
Next Steps
To confirm your current blood sugar status, it is a good idea to get your HbA1c rechecked. This will provide an accurate picture of your average blood sugar over the past 2–3 months. If you want, you can connect with me on Practo and I can guide you on interpreting the results and planning continued lifestyle measures.
Health Tips

HbA1c of 5.7 is normal. It is better to get other tests done as well, such a complete blood count, thyroid function tests. For further evaluation, kindly do connect.
Anyway, your hba1c report was near normal earlier too. Whatever problem you were facing was due to weight.
